ShellCon is an information security conference that is held annually in the beautiful beach cities of Los Angeles. Costs are covered by generous donors and sponsors who share our ethos to hack, share, include, and grow, but we rely on Volunteers to make the con a success.
Before the doors open, till the last hacker heads home, we need helping hands. Volunteer opportunities include the following:
To be a Volunteer, we require a 4-6 hour work commitment; time minimum varies based on assignment. This means you'll still have plenty of time for conference. All volunteers must be at least 18 years old. Exceptions may be made on a case by case basis if the parent granting permission is on site. If you have questions before signing up, please feel free to send us an email at volunteer@shellcon.io.
All volunteers will receive a volunteer shirt to be worn during your shift and free admittance to the con. Please remember to bring a clothes for the rest of the con. If you're spotted with your volunteer shirt on outside of your shift, you'll be expected to help.
Come help hack all the things. Share some knowledge. Make new friends. Learn some new tricks. In addition to the ShellCon Core Team, we need volunteers to make this year the best ShellCon.
